Donald Gibson, Senior Pastor

Wife  :  Jonna
Pastor Don communicates the Word of God in such a way that you realize it's still applicable today.  He wants you to know that the promises such as deliverance, freedom, breakthrough, prosperity, and blessings in the Bible are not for yesterday; they are for today.  Every need you have can be met in and through the Word of God a personal relationship with Jesus.  Pastor Don and Jonna have been in full-time ministry for over 20 years.  They spent 12 years in Freeport, TX where Pastor Don served as Senior Pastor before his relocation to Mont Belvieu in April of 2008.  Together they have two sons, Trey and Corey.

Pockets Tullos, Youth Pastor

Pockets is a clear voice in the sea of confusion for our teens. He has been in youth minsitry for 10 years and hopes one day to grow up himself.  He is serious about youth ministry and reaching students through discipleship and practical application of the word of GOD. He's husband to Kimberly and the super daddy of Emmalee and Kylee. Pockets is also a graduate from Southwestern Assemblies of God University.

Debbie Burton, Children's Pastor

Debbie was saved at the age of 9 and has been faithfully serving the Lord ever since.  She has been in Children's Ministry for over 20 years.  She served as the Children's Pastor at Mont Belvieu Assembly for 7 years before leaving in 2006 to take care of her elderly father.  She recently returned to the team in January of 2008.  Debbie has been married for over 24 years to her best friend, Wade.  She has 2 children, Calvin and Monique.

Christopher Ballew, Executive Pastor

Chris is originally from Houston, TX where most of his family still lives.  He spent six years on staff in Freeport, TX before coming to Mont Belvieu where he has served in many different areas of ministry including administration, music, youth and yes, even children's ministry.  Chris is driven by a passion to help people discover who God has created them to be and place them in an area of service in God's Kingdom according to their unique design.  Some of Chris' favorite things to do are cooking, watching the Food Network and enjoying coffee.

Rhonda Barker, Administrative Assistant

Rhonda was born in Palestine, TX and moved to the Mont Belvieu area when she was 5.  She married her high school sweetheart, Lonnie Barker, and together they have two awesome children.  She has attended MBAG for over 14 years, at which time she has served in the following ministries:  the worship team, as a Van Ministry driver,a teacher in Missionettes, CDO, as well as C.E. Children’s, Youth, and Single’s classes.  She has also served as Recording Secretary, Interim Children’s Pastor, CDO Asst. Director, Nursery Director, Youth Sponsor, Greeter, and Administrative Assistant.   Rhonda has a heart for the  hurting and wants God’s to use her to share His love to them. 

Lynda Holzaepfel, Children's Day Out Director

Lynda has been directing CDO for a total of 26 years, the latter 6 here at Mont Belvieu Assembly.  Under her leadership, the program has grown from 5 teacher to a full staff of 10 teachers, a Director, an Assistant Director, and 85 children attending on Mondays and Wednesdays!  She has been married for 48 years and has 3 children and 5 grand children.  Lynda enjoys sewing, shopping and going to lunch with her girlfriends.

Vicky Parker, Assistant CDO Director

Vicky has been married for 20 years and is the mother of three wonderful children.  She has been working with Children's Day Out for over 9 years; 7 years as a teacher and the last 2 1/2 as the Assistant Director.  Vicky enjoys scrapbooking, fishing, going to the movies and just hanging out with her family.

Teresa Childers, Financial Administrator

Teresa has lived in Deer Park her entire life. She served on staff at her home church as the office and financial administrator for five years. Teresa has been married for 11 years. She and her husband, Brynn, have a beautiful daughter, Alexis. She enjoys spending time with her family and especially date nights with her husband.
